Helena trained at The Guildford School of Acting studying Musical Theatre.

She’s been nominated for a TMA award (Nellie Forbush, South Pacific); a Broadway World West End award (Lady Caroline, Titanic); and an Off-West End award (Gertrude Lawrence, Noel & Gertie).

Helena came second in BBC1 talent show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria and was a finalist in The Voice of Musical Theatre for BBC Wales and BBC Radio 2.  

She has also worked alongside many composers and lyricists, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice, Stiles & Drewe and Howard Goodall.

Her favourite theatre roles include Millie Pontipee, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; Eliza Doolittle, My Fair Lady, Maria Von Trap, The Sound of Music; Lily/Rose, The Secret Garden; Helen Fogel, Sondheim’s Saturday Night; Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz and Gypsy Rose Lee, Gypsy.

Over the last two years Helena has appeared on screen in Pennyworth, Warner Horizon and I Hate Suzie, Sky Atlantic. As well as filmed, My One and Only – awaiting release.

Having recorded for many artists, writers & composers, her own album The Sound of Rodgers & Hammerstein was realised to critical acclaim, Helena being one of the youngest females in modern time to re-visit and record their material.  

She was thrilled when her version of I Vow to Thee My Country was used on The Queens 90th Birthday Celebration CD.
